The most frequent cause of failure of the implant, the deterioration of its functional characteristics and in some cases its loss was the development of periimplantitis. At the examination of the oral cavity of patients with implants there were found clinical signs of local inflammation and changes of microbiocenosis in the surrounding soft tissue. As a result of the study of microbiology changes in periimplant tissues at periimplantitis development there were developed the most appropriate treatment and preventive measures. Comparative statistical analysis of result of complex treatment of patients with dental periimplantitis revealed more pronounced effectiveness of alternative treatments using natural gel based on propolis and combination gel with ozone therapy.
