We live in a very severe and difficult time for the country, society and all of us. And the diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), about which we knew only from books becomes extremely real and aсtual. The work gives information about exam for PTSD of military men from the area of anti-terrorist operation, level of personal and reactive anxiety, and evaluating their life quality and sleep disorders. There were determined incidence of PTSD in patients of somatic and psychiatric departments of hospital and compared with manifestations of PTSD patients of the Lviv Psychiatric Hospital.
