The article is devoted to the investigation of some philosophical presuppositions of a subject matter of bioethics. The specific complexity of this domain of inquiry is stated. The system-structural approach is suggested as a relevant methodology of account for such problematics. The principle of complementarity of dual system models is used to explicate consistence correlation between biological and ethical aspects of subject matter of bioethics.
