The article presents data about the influence of the method of cardiac shock wave therapy (CSWT) to adherence to treatment and the quality of life of patients. Using method CSWT in combined therapy of ischemic heart disease with diabetes mellitus type 2 improves adherence to treatment and quality of life due to increasing level of scheduled visits, constant monitoring by a physician, and improves the medical condition of the patient.
