During outpatient reception in orthopedic department within a definite time interval 100 patients, which came for dental prosthetics for the first time, and 12 ones, who underwent prosthetics with acrylic resin as constructive material and who complained of oral mucous membrane inflammation, were examined. Allergic anamnesis was studied in all patients, allergic test for the sensibility to acrylic resins was held.
Sensibility to acrylic resins was found in 18% of patients who needed prosthetics.
The inflammation in the area of prosthetic bed in patients with acrylic prosthetics in 50% of cases were of allergic origin.
