The condition of the nuclear-power complex of Ukraine by the period of the beginning of 2004, the end of 2008 and the middle of 2009 is analyzed. The target characteristics of the energy safety level in 2030 are considered (according to the Energy strategy of Ukraine at the period up to 2030).
It is established that the adopted branch and state programs of safety providing in the field of nuclear power usage and programs of nuclear-power complex development are not provided properly with material and financial resources, organization measures. As a result, a part of them are not executed, which threatens providing safety during using the nuclear and radiation technologies and threatens the energy safety of the state.
