DETERMINATION OF THE STATE OF THE FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE SALIVARY GLANDS IN PATIENTS WITH PARTIAL REMOVABLE DENTURES MADE ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES

The work gives clinical determination of the functional activity of the salivary glands in the patients who use partial removable dentures. Five groups of prostheses were composed of the plate removable dentures, made of acrylic plastic, a copolymer of polypropylene “Lipol”, a copolymer of polypropylene “Tipplen R 359”, nylon “Valplast”, and the polypropylene, processed by the glow discharge plasma.

The study proved that the polypropylene prostheses and prostheses made of nylon had the least negative influence on the functional activity of the salivary glands in comparison with the acrylic dental prostheses influence.
