The results of implementation of the first stage of the Odessa regional telemedical project have been analyzed in the course of Ministry of Health of Ukraine meeting, which was hold in Odessa on 28th of July, 2009. The obtained experience point on possibility to make medical care cheaper, an ability to prevent severe complications development along with improvement of effectiveness of the regional healthcare system. Some perspectives on the development of telemedical network and distant eductaion of medical workers have been considered and proved.
