The contemporary data concerning pharmacological correction of pathological processes that occur in an organism in hypoxic syndrome is given in the article. The main directions and fundamental approaches in pharmacological therapy of this pathological condition are described. There is given an analysis of protective activity of newly synthesized compounds as potential antihypoxants.
