The author gives different points of view regarding what is human dignity, dividing them into three groups: a) the question is too theoretical; b) the question is not scientific enough; c) there is no need to discuss this issue, since everyone knows about human dignity. Three schools are considered: teleological, deontological and consequential (consecutive). The author invites readers to choose for themselves any of the theories that support the idea of human dignity.
