BALOON DILATION OF MAJOR DUODENAL PAPILLA AT CHOLEDOCHOLITHIASIS SURGERY

The work deals with the choice of optimum parameters of baloon dilation effect on the major duodenal papilla (MDP). There were studied morphological changes in MDP during baloon dilation usage. The experiment is conducted on the 25 objects (autopsied specimen) with the antegrade and retrograde approaches to MDP. There is studied baloon dilation influence on the sphincter system with taking into account time (minutes) of reaching a necessary pressure (atm) in baloon and duration of the influence itself. There are studied and worked out the rational parameters of dilation influence on MDP, which allows to minimize the MDP’s sphincter system damage and to provide a complete effect of dilation, which is important for the improvement of the nearest and late results of medical treatment in patients suffering from choledocholithiasis.
