INNOVATIVE COMPLEX TEACHING OF NEUROSCIENCES QUESTIONS FOR IMPROVING NEUROLOGISTS PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Certain aspects of Odessa National Medical University (ONMedU) neurological, physiological and pathophysiological department’s educational and scientific activity are described in the article. The main directions of research work, scientific and pedagogical activity, achievements for the last 15 years and introduction of new data involved in educational process, practical health care. Authors underline that increase of neurologists training level is promoted by close connections between different departments, increase of efficiency of assimilation of fundamental knowledge of neurophysiology by students and doctors. In this regard the importance of assimilation is comprehensively shown by students of basic physiological knowledge that will allow neurologists to acquire fundamental neuropathophysiological knowledge of nervous system functioning in the normal and pathological conditions.

Within the European training programs, the ONMedU neurological department together with federation of neurologic societies regularly conducts training courses for neurologists of Ukraine devoted to important issues of neurosciences.
