ESTIMATION OF CHANGES IN CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF PATIENTS WHO WERE PERFORMED THE PROCEDURE OF HYPERTHERMIC INTRAPERITONEAL CHEMOTHERAPY AT GASTROABDOMINAL TUMORS

HIPEC (Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) is a popular method of palliative treatment in patients with malignant abdominal tumors. This short review is devoted to trace changes in general clinical tests in patients with verified carcinomatosis before and after HIPEC procedure. A group of 25 patients were monitored for changes in 11 basic clinical and laboratory parameters among those included in the study. Concentration of hemoglobin, leukocytes, platelets, total protein, bilirubin, serum glucose, liver enzymes alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, thymol test and coagulogram indices: prothrombin index and fibrinogen. Summarizing the brief results, it can be said that the HIPEC procedure did not significantly affect the clinical and laboratory parameters and general clinical blood tests.
