BIOETHICAL STANDARDS AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN A CONTEXT OF HIV PERINATAL TRANSMISSION AND MEDICAL CARE OF CHILDREN BORN BY HIV-INFECTED WOMEN

During prospective study of 486 children born by HIV-infected women and interrogation of physicians and HIV-infected mothers the problems of bioethics and observance of human rights while conducting HIV-infected pregnant women and their children were registered. Bioethical problems and breach of human rights have been revealed in following items: the principles of person’s autonomy, being good to people and inflicting no harm, social justice, the respect of privacy and confidentiality of private information.
