The article highligts the values and principles of bioethics, also focused on the importance of the choice of benchmarks to follow the examples of Hippocrates, Cosmas and Damian, Panteleimon, Abu Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Abdal Sina, Moses Maimonides, Agapit Pecherskyy, St. Luke (Valentin) Voyno-Yasenetsky, Giuseppe Moscati, s. Martha Vyetska etc., which play an important role in the implementation of the doctor’s vocation.
